Every Hand
Written by: M. D. Gifford II
Given the circumstance, we rise
Any given Sunday, there be no compromise
History repeats itself, ‘tween peaceful times
I wanna know when the people lived, in harmony and kind
Some want the power, but they get denied,
I struggle to see all of this in all of the fight
We sacrifice oh man, to free some foreign land
Takin the witness stand, from my post
It’s time to keep calm and carry on
He demanded to keep his thrown, and all its pearls
We were happy to kick him off, and send him right, right home
Some want the power, but they get denied,
I struggle to see all of this in all of the fight
We sacrifice Oh man, to free this foreign land
We sacrifice Oh man, yeah, yeah, yeah, to free this foreign land
It’ll take Every Hand, to get this through
But only a small percent, will take this on for you
It be a military man, and he will give it to you
Nobody will understand, till you walk a mile in his shoes
Some want the power, but they get denied,
I struggle to see all of this in all of the fight
We sacrifice oh man, to free this foreign land
Oh yeah yeah, we sacrifice oh man, to free this foreign land for you
Freedom rings with every hand, oh yeah
Say freedom with every hand
